1. Definition of Personal Information
In this Privacy Policy, personal information refers to information about living individuals that falls under any of the following items.

In providing this service, PROCYON STUDIO CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Company") may obtain the following information from users of this service (hereinafter referred to as "User").

3. Purposes of the Use of Personal Information
Company uses personal information for the following purposes.
A) To provide this service (including product shipment and payment processing)
B) To provide information and respond to inquiries regarding this service
C) To respond to violations of Company's Terms of Service and other policies related to this service
D) To notify User regarding changes to Company's Terms of Use and other policies related to this service
E) To improve this service and respond to problems
F) For statistical analysis
G) For other purposes related to the above purposes of use
4. Changes of the Purposes of the Use of Personal Information
Company may change the purposes of the use of personal information to the extent that is reasonably deemed to be relevant. In the event of a change, Company will notify the User or make a public announcement.
5. Limitation of the Use of Personal Information
Except as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations, Company will not, without obtaining the consent of User, handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use. However, this does not apply in the following cases.
A) When required by law
B) When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body or property of User and it is difficult to obtain the consent of User
C) When it is necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of User
D) When it is necessary to cooperate with the national government, local governments and so on in the performance of their duties, and obtaining consent of User is likely to impede in the performance of such duties
6. Appropriate Acquisition of Personal Information
6.1 Company will acquire personal information in an appropriate manner and will not acquire it through deception or other wrongful methods.
6.2 Company will not acquire any personal information requiring special consideration (as defined in Article 2 Section 3 of the Personal Information Protection Act) without obtaining the prior consent of User, except in the following cases.
A) When any of the items in Article 5 apply
B) Where such personal information requiring special consideration is disclosed by User, a national agency, a local government, a person listed in Article 76 Section 1 of the Personal Information Protection Act, or any other person specified by the Rules of the Personal Information Protection Commission
C) When acquiring personal information requiring special consideration that is evident in its external appearance by visually observing or photographing the person in question
D) Cases in which the provision of personal information requiring special consideration is received from a third party and the provision by the third party falls under any of the items of Article 8 Section 2
6.3 When receiving personal information from a third party, Company will confirm the following items as stipulated by the Rules of the Personal Information Protection Commission. However, this excludes cases in which the provision of said personal information by the third party falls under and of the items of Article 5 or Article 8 Section 2.
A) The name and address of said third party and, in the case of a corporation, the name of its representative (in the case of an unincorporated association with a designated representative or administrator, the name of its representative or administrator)
B) How the relevant personal information was acquired by the third party
7. Secure Management of Personal Information
Company will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over its employees to ensure that personal information is managed safely against risks such as loss, destruction, falsification and leakage of personal information. In addition, when Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information, Company will provide necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure that the outsourced company manages the personal information safely.
8. Provision to Third Parties
8.1 Company may disclose personal information to payment processing companies for the purpose of identity verification, billing address verification and credit checks.
8.2 Company will not provide personal information to a third party without obtaining the prior consent of User except in cases set forth in Article 5. However, the follow cases do not fall under the provision of personal information to third parties as stipulated above.
A) When personal information is provided in conjunction with the outsourcing of all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary for the achievement of the purposes of use
B) When personal information is provided as a result of the succession of business due to a merger or other reasons
C) When sharing personal information in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act
8.3 Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 8 Section 2, excepting any of the cases set forth in Article 5, when Company discloses information to third parties (excluding those who have established a system that conforms to the standards designated by the Rules of the Personal Information Protection Commission under Article 24 of the Personal Information Protection Act) located outside Japan (excluding countries designated by the Rules of the Personal Information Protection Commission under Article 24 of the Personal Information Protection Act), Company shall obtain prior consent of User regarding providing personal information to the third party in a foreign country.
8.4 When Company provides personal information to a third party, Company will create and preserve records in accordance with Article 25 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
8.5 When receiving personal information from a third party, Company shall perform the necessary confirmation in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act and shall create and preserve records related to such confirmation.
9. Disclosure of Personal Information
When Company receives a request for the disclosure of personal information from User in accordance with the provisions of the personal Information Protection Act, Company will disclose the information to User without delay after confirming that the request is made by the individual himself or herself (if the the relevant personal information does not exist, Company will notify the individual to that effect). However, this does not apply to cases in which Company is not obligated to disclose information under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.
10. Correction of Personal Information
When Company receives a request from User to correct, add or delete his or her personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act due to the reason that the personal information is not true, Company will, after confirming that the request is from the individual himself or herself, conduct the necessary investigation without delay to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use. Based on the results of such investigation, Company will correct the personal information and notify User of the correction (in the event that Company decides not to make a correction, Company will notify User of its decision). However, this shall not apply in cases where Company is not obligated to make such corrections under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.
11. Suspension of the Use of Personal Information
When Company receives a request from User to discontinue use of, discontinue provision of or delete any of his or her personal information in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act based on the reason that User's personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the purposes of use set forth by Company, that User's personal information was acquired through deception or other wrongful methods, or that User's personal information has been provided to a third party without User's consent, if it is discovered that User's request has merit, Company shall confirm that the request is from User himself or herself and then shall promptly discontinue use of, discontinue provision of or delete User's personal information according to User's request and shall notify User that the foregoing has been performed. However, the above shall not apply in cases where Company is not obligated to cease use or provision under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.
